RESULTS - đMISSY GANNON
The 1st Major is in the books and so is the Tourâs 2-week stint in Austin, TX. With all its offerings, this frisbee hub is slowly turning into an iconic Tour stop.
In no particular order, here are the storylines you should remember or may have missed:

HIGHLIGHT
All event long the iconic Hole 17 saw railroad tie skips, heart-sinking island misses, and a near ace. On the windy final day, Lisa Fajkus was done dirty by the MVP basket.
And that wasnât even the worst spit-out. In Round 2, Kristin Tattarâs C2 putt for a hard-fought birdie came right back out.

âžď¸ Infiniteâs Highlight: Prodigyâs 2024 Signature Series
The seasonâs in full swing and so are the team series drops.
Days ago, Prodigy released their postage stamp theme lineup. Each mold and plastic was chosen by the players and represents a staple in their bags.
Here are my favorites:
Isaac Robinson FX-4 400 Glimmer (9|5|-2|1)
In stiff plastic, the pop-top dome packs big glide with an overall stability more like -1. Itâs like a Discmania Horizon FD1 and flies great for skinny flex shots or slight hyzer flips.
Cale Levisika M4 300 Fractal (5|5|-1|1)
In their newest Fractal plastic, this mold hits all the marks of a go-to mid: beautiful, grippy, and dead-straight.
Luke Humphries A5 Special Blend Spectrum (4|3|0|2)
This mold is underrated. âEvery Toro dreams of being an A5â - Humphries.

1ď¸âŁ With the men having the weekend off, it was the perfect time to debut disc golfâs Manningcast. On Thursday and Sunday, Big Jerm was joined by Jonathan Gomez & Brian Earhart to comment on USWDGCâs live action.
The JomezCast was sometimes insightful, silly, and podcast-esque. Overall, it was a nice alternative filled with endless stories from Big Jerm.
One of those history lessons was on the lore surrounding the âPatent Pendingâ shot.
The original backstory came from Billy Crump. During a USDGC broadcast, he said Ken Climo & Barry Schultz couldn't agree on who invented/used the shot first, so they called it patent pending
Older disc golfers argue itâs because you could read the words âpatent pendingâ on the bottom of a throwerâs disc when in that stance
Earhart thinks itâs better described as a âReverse Pivotâ when talking about the athletic stance
No matter what I call it, itâs a shot I think I can execute but never actually do.
2ď¸âŁ In case you missed the men this week, Dustin Wolfe - DG cinematographer - blessed us with his most comprehensive side-by-side form comparison.
Here are 10 of the top 20 competitors from Worlds 2023:
